Neck, Shoulders, and Wrists, Spoon Addition
For this class you will need a long wooden spoon or short dowel. We will also use yoga blocks and a foam roller if you have one. For this class we continue our work on the neck, shoulders and wrists. The dowel/spoon gives us a little more to work with in strengthening around the wrists. This work can be strong so go slowly and listen to your body. After more shoulder warm ups we give push ups a try, feel free to use your resistance band for a push up like action while lying down. Strengthening the front chest and front neck just might give your posture the support it was missing. See how your standing poses feel. This class was filmed live October 5, 2021.

For this class you will need a dowel, long stick, hiking pole or long wooded spoon. You will also need yoga blocks and a blanket. In this class we continue on our neck and shoulder work and incorporate work down chain in the wrists. After a thorough warm up we work on standing poses and then get a chance to head upside down. Vision Exercises for Better Balance
For this class you will need yoga blocks and possibly a chair. We also practice many balancing poses so feel free to come to a wall for more support.
We start off taking in more of our peripheral view. How does this influence how you feel? From there we do a throughout wrist warm up and then continue on with other warm ups relining. Then in the standing poses we see how vision work can possibly improve your balance, some times quite a bit and so quickly. Give it a try and see. From there we work towards a standing flow of triangle pose, side angle pose, and half moon pose. This class was filmed live August 31, 2021.
Wrists, Shoulders, Hamstrings, and Inversions
For this class you will need a long blanket, a mini loop band and yoga blocks, and a spot at the wall. We start out warming up our wrist and hand grip strength while stretching the legs. The chest opener helps to start working on shoulder mobility. From there we do core work support a strong foundation going forward. We use the mini loop band for traction on the wrist, this can open up new space in the wrist joint and more easy in wrist extension (needed in handstand). We work on sliding moves to light up the hamstrings and glutes. And then put it together with inversions. This class was filmed live August 9, 2021.
Wrist Care Class for Side Plank Pose
For this class you will need a weight you can lift over head easily or a large water bottle or something you can hold easily that has some weight to it. You will also need a blanket and yoga blocks and a spot as the wall.
In this class we slow down and give our wrists extra attention. As you take the class see if the warm ups help plank pose feel better. In caring for our wrists we also stretch the neck and chest muscles. We work towards side plank poses. This class was filmed live May 22, 2021.
Yoga with a Dowel Part 3
For this class you need a 5 foot dowel, a blanket and a door way.
In this class we work more closely with shoulder mobility and external rotation specifically and then use it at the end of class in handstand variations. We also check in with hip mobility and try out a fun squat variation in a door frame. This class was filmed live March 6, 2021.

Yoga with a Blanket
For this class you will need a yoga blanket or a large beach towel, a chair or two yoga blocks and a small towel. In this class we will use the blanket in novel ways to explore familiar poses. We also work on wrist strength and hip strength. After our active flow sequence you will get a chance to rest and relax bound angle pose before savasana.
